Group Events Coordinator

- Hours: Full-time – 40 hours per week, with some out-of-hours work required

Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and organised Group Events Coordinator to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of key events across our care homes. This role will work closely with activity teams in each home to support local event planning, while also taking the lead on larger-scale group events that bring together residents, families, and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with activity teams across the group to plan and schedule a calendar of engaging events across the calendar year. This will include organising and leading regular team meetings.
- Lead the organisation and delivery of larger-scale events within our homes, including seasonal celebrations and community initiatives.
- Attend and supervise major events, including some out-of-hours and weekend commitments.
- Support fundraising activities linked to events, working with internal teams and external partners.
- Work closely with the marketing team to provide key dates, event details, and promotional content.
- Share post-event materials, including photos, feedback, and summaries for internal and external communications.
- Build relationships with local community groups, suppliers, and entertainers to enhance event offerings.
- Ensure all events are inclusive, safe, and aligned with the values of Stow Healthcare.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in event planning and coordination, ideally within a care, hospitality, or community setting.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines across different locations.
- Comfortable working collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Creative mindset with a passion for bringing people together.
- Willingness to work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends.
- A full UK driving licence and access to transport are a necessity.

The office comprises Group Operations, Compliance, Finance, Admissions Management and Human Resources.
