About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and friendly Minibus Driver to support our 4 Southern carehomes. You will be transporting small groups of residents and staff for them to be able to attend events, outings, and enrichment activities that enhance their wellbeing and quality of life.
You will ensure safe, punctual, and comfortable journeys for our team, playing an important role in helping our staff provide excellent care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and drop off staff and residents
- Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for passengers
- Conduct routine safety checks on the vehicle before and after use
- Keep accurate mileage and fuel records
- Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly
- Provide excellent customer service to team member
Hours
- 8.30am to 4pm – some flexibility for evenings and weekends
- Available to work alternate weekends
- Part or full time hours available
Requirements
- Full, clean UK driving licence (D1 entitlement required)
- You will need a Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
- Must be over 21 years old
- Be willing to complete an Enhanced DBS check
- Previous experience, min of 2 yrs, driving minibuses or similar vehicles preferred
- MIDAS certification (preferred)
- Good time management and reliability
- Friendly and professional manner
- Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality
