Our Cook Role
REPORTING TO: Home Manager
JOB PURPOSE - Duties to include, preparing residents breakfasts, cooked lunch and pudding, preparing evening Tea. In addition to be responsible for ordering, stock control, residents’ tea trolley mid morning and afternoon, food prep and clearing down the kitchen. This is an ideal position for someone with a passion for providing lovingly prepared meals for our residents. We will provide IDDSI training but they must have a good level of cooking skills. As occupancy grows, the scope/responsibilities/renumeration of the role will get bigger.
The skills you’ll need
- An experienced Cook with experience of a professional kitchen
- Adaptable to dietary requirements
- Passionate about great quality food and making a difference
- Flexibility, patience, caring attitude and a real 'people person'
- A proficient level of written and spoken English
- Shift times 8am to 4pm, some flexibility needed
- Available to work alternate weekends
